Apple Terms of Use (EULA)
Paid Aera Plus plans also follow Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
The app
Aera is a personal calendar. It is provided as-is, for you to keep your own days. By downloading or using Aera you agree to these terms.
Your events
You are responsible for what you write in Aera. Do not use it to store content that is unlawful or that you do not have the right to keep. Events live on your device until cloud sync ships. Keep a backup of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Accounts
You may create an account with email and a password, or continue with Google. Keep your password to yourself. If you use Google, you also follow Google’s terms for that sign-in. You may reset an email password by asking Aera to send a link to that inbox.
Acceptable use
Do not try to break Aera, overload its account service, or use someone else’s account. Do not reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
The service
Accounts rely on Firebase, which may be unavailable at times. Features can change. Aera may stop offering a feature. We are not liable for missed reminders, lost local data, or time zone mistakes.
Subscriptions
Aera Plus is a paid subscription. A new subscription starts with seven days free. You will not be charged during the trial. After seven days, the plan you chose renews automatically until you cancel: $39 a year, or $5.99 a month, billed by Apple or Google through your store account. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends, in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Refunds follow Apple or Google rules.
Intellectual property
Aera, its name, design, and code belong to the publisher of Aera. You get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app. You do not get ownership.
Children
You must be 13 or older to use Aera with an account.
Law
If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the country or state where the publisher of Aera resides, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. If you keep using Aera after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not, sign out and uninstall.
